A prequel to White Day, called White Day: Swan Song, is also currently in development for the PlayStation 4 as a VR title. A PC and PlayStation 4 port of the remake was later released in 2017 and PQube published these versions in the West under the game's original title, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School. White Day would later be released internationally on Mafor both Android and iOS, however sometime in April the game was re-branded as "The School: White Day" on all English mobile store fronts. The title was released in South Korea for Android devices on Novemwith an iOS release following soon after on December 18th. The remake was created by a company founded by the development team of the first White Day called ROI Games along with another developer named Gachyon Soft. Just like the original title, White Day is a first-person adventure game about a student trapped inside his high school after dark while being hunted by a murderous janitor that stalks the school's halls. White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is a re-imagining of the Korean horror game of the same name that was initially released by Sonnori in 2001.
